BIOGRAPHY OF SHIRO ARIYAMA
Shiro Ariyama Architect / photographer, born in Constanza, Province of La Vega, Dominican Republic. His family migrated from Japan in the early 1950. He studied photography with Wifredo Garcia. In 2009 he started in digital photography.
Since 2010 he has participated in advanced workshops with Raul Touzon, (National Geographic), with Suki Belaustegui Argentine photographer based in Bali and with Alicia Kidd from Puerto Rico.
He is a member of Photographic Groups: Escritura del Espacio (Group of photographers architects) and member of ADFONA, Association of nature photographers.
He has participated in several group exhibitions, including "Devoción Diversa", Casa de Francia Colectiva Photo Imagen 2010. Dominican Crossover, New York, USA Octure 2011. De Madera, Collective Exhibition Space Writing, Museum of Modern Art, Santo Domingo 2012.
