Marek Fiuk

I was born in 1961 in Warsaw , where I finished primary and secondary school. I graduated from the Warsaw University of Life Sciences, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine. Since 1985, I have been actively engaged in various forms of art, especially jewelery made of silver, digital graphics, photography and sculpture. All the my works are unique. For 3 years I have been mainly involved in the creation of sculptures. I work in several metals: silver, copper and bronze. Many extraordinary works are created during my creative process – these are made in wood and clay. I am inspired by works of art created by nature, by observing people and animals. In all my work I try to find beauty derived from notes of logic/mathematics. I use a different technique for each job. Sometimes the inspiration leads to developing a new technique or a combination of workshop techniques. Neither the choice of technique nor the recipient of my work dictate the price of my work.
