Lou Forsyth

Lou is a freelance textile designer and published photographer. A global expat who was born in the Southern Hemisphere. She loves nature, from which she draws much inspiration for her work. Growing up she was surrounded by art and fashion, which both played an important part in her family career wise. Those influences paved the way to her future with much of her work being exhibited in USA at Couture Fashion Week, Milan at various art galleries/private clubs, in Cape Town at The Mount Nelson and at Cannes during the Film Festival period. Mostly self-taught, Lou has been drawing since childhood, though digital drawing has taken precedence over her pencils these days. There’s a bold, unforgettable element to her work, which can be seen on many designs, ranging from apparel, bags and home decor to tech accessories.
