Welcome to Artblr My name is Kasia Nowak and I am an artist based in Blackpool, UK. I have been creating my art for over 20 years, contributing to exhibitions in Poland and art events in UK (Sheffield in 2008, Blackpool in 2010 and Leeds in 2014), Arte Genova in Italy and others I would like to present my artistic creations, which have been growing since my early years. Along with my experiences, they evolved, grew in strength which caused more and more passion and love, and a desire to express myself with the help of brushes and paints. I am a self-taught artist who draws inspiration in deep human feelings, observation of human behaviour, as well as subconscious images that flow during dreams. In my paintings, I try to focus on ruling out the negativity and focusing on the highlights of life. It isn’t always happy and untroubled but a love-centric life and pursuit to internal balance always bring us to the brighter side of our existence. My paintings are always the mirror of my emotions. I love to paint people, capture the movement of their bodies and connect with their souls, so I can really feel and visualise their expressions. I strongly believe that honest emotions, deep feelings and human experiences are the soul image in the existence trip through the life map. Horses are majestic and beautiful creatures which is another love of mine to express on the canvas. I admire their power, strength, sensitivity and their mysterious nature which is illuminated by their eyes I also paint abstract. In this way I try to show, like in the distorting mirror, my gladness, mindfulness and longings of my being. In my work from 2003, you can notice a great influence from Salvador Dali and further surrealistic styles. I would like to describe my current style as a mix of contemporary, modern abstract and surrealistic study. “A true artist is not one who is inspired, but one who inspires others.” – Salvador Dali
