Constantinos Kalfountzos was born in Athens in 1975.
From 1994 to 1998 he studied painting, printmaking and photography at the Fine Arts Academy of Lecce - Italy (Accademia di Belle Arti di Lecce) with professors Giuseppe Lisi, Luigia Resta, Pierluigi Bolognini and the art critic Marina Pizzarelli.
In November 2002, he made his first solo exhibition at the Contemporary Art Centre of Larissa under the program of the K.S.T.L. and the Hellenic Ministry of Culture.
Since September 2003 he lives and works in Rethymno Crete.
Works of him, belongs to the collection of the Fine Arts Academy of Lecce, to the collection of Contemporary Art Centre of Larissa, as well as in private collections in Greece and abroad.
He is a member of the Hellenic Chamber of Fine Arts.
