Art is my way to react to reality outside and inside me. Painting is for me the most accurate way of displaying my perception of the world around me. Everything can be my inspiration in any different moment. Sometimes it is the world that surrounds me – people, my friends, some interesting faces, city scapes, abandoned places or even some stray dogs. But sometimes my mood or inside vision is what makes me paint. I take inspiration from my immediate reality, as well as photography and my own imagination. During my studies at the National Art academy, I was trained in figurative painting, but sometimes I need to become more abstract and more intuitive in my painting process. I prefer to have the freedom to follow my impulses and ideas through the painting. I like to get lost and then find myself in the process.
