Denisa Kolarova

I live in Bratislava, Slovakia. After studying English and Literature at Comenius University in Bratislava, and Reflexology at International Institute of Reflexology in London, UK, artwork has become a must-do for everyday challenges. Since 2008 I have been exhibiting at home and abroad. In 2012, the jury of an international art fair in Italy awarded the title "Giovani Emergenti" to my artworks. The live demonstration of my work was presented in 2013 at the Tricolors exhibition in Pune (India). I see and feel inspiration from nature, people and traveling, either it is for photography, sketches or painting. Definitely first influence were artists of modern and postmodern eras, especially S. Dali. I use several artistic directions, the techniques prevail combined (oil, acrylic, pastel), favorite motifs are trees. The paintings can be seen in the art studio in Bratislava, at the annual Salon of Artists and on both author and group exhibitions.
