Ali Al-Ezzi, a synaesthete, author, and multi-media artist, was born on February 13, 1985, in Baghdad, Iraq. In 2008, he earned a bachelor's degree in computer science from a Baghdad-based private university.

 In 2001, Ali started writing and producing art, and since then, his works have been exhibited in various venues around the world. Swiss art expo, World Art Dubai, biennials in Venice is considered the most noteworthy fairs that Al-Ezzi has participated in.

In one of its sessions in 2015, the American Kodner auction house, founded in 1906, displayed works of art by Spanish artists Pablo Picasso, Salvador Dali, and Juan Miro, works by Russian artist Marc Chagall, an artwork by French artist Claude Monet, and artwork by Iraqi artist Ali Al-Ezzi for bidding.

All the pieces featured and sold in the auction were displayed on various websites at the time, but this session was archived on the Live Auctioneers website.

Al-Ezzi is regarded to be the Arab world's first documented case as a Synaesthete. He participates in several Synaesthesia studies and projects and works as a counsellor. Additionally, he is a member of the JTTS (Journey Through The Senses) organisation and IASAS (International Association of Synesthetes, Artists, and Scientists) .
