Trace

Trace is an artwork based on the idea of the everlasting impact of the human soul. Similarly to the way that a scorched body leaves its trace on a surface, a human soul can leave its trace on society even after the body has passed away. In order to emphasize on the idea of scorching/destruction/purification, the materials used in this artwork were chosen to be asphalt and ashes (remnants of flammable materials, connected with fire), in order to be true to the meaning and thus enhance the conceptual part of this painting.
