A mountain sleeps beyond the western prairie is depicted in this small oil with earthy shades of green, blue and gray.
Having lived in Colorado for 15 years, my favorite scenes are the big view vistas. You can see for miles and really breathe in the western spirit.
I did this piece from memory in total with a pallet knife
