Tomato is one of the main veggies consumed among backpack tourists and families traveling on their own, without agencies involved, so in Serbia there is established name ”Tomato Tourism” for that kind of vacations. This painting is made to honor the backpackers, free travelers and His Holiness Tomato.
The work is acrylic on canvas. I like that medium, cause it allows quick painting, lets colors to remain vibrant and painting to stay fresh and vivid.
