Kalamkari painting.
Made on 300 gsm watercolor paper with acrylic paints, watercolor & dip nib pen.
Originally Kalamkari is a type of hand-painted or block-printed cotton textile, made in Iran and India. It's name is derived from the words kalam (pen) and kari (craftmanship) in Persian, meaning drawing with a pen. Only natural dyes are used in kalamkari and it involves twenty three steps.
