Legong Glitch

Legong Glitch is my interpretation of a Balinese dancer. The dancers faces are extremely expressive. The movements are vibrant, hipnotic and at times very energetic. The costumes are rich in golds and colours. In my painting I tried to reproduced all these aspects. As I'm exploring the real/surreal relationship and creating my style I wanted the painting to have the feeling of a "glitch", like an hologram appearing and disappearing, like something that could be real or not. As the dancer move around telling a story through her body and hands movements the viewer can feel the energy changing from one of calmness to a more energetic and dark one. I hope anyone looking at this painting will feel the energy that this dance can generate. This painting is signed and will be shipped rolled in a tube.
