I landed back in the UK, mid-winter after five years in glorious Mexico. It was cold and dark, and grey, and dreary. It's easy to lose hope when there's no sunshine or color. However, Spring began to break, and eventually, there were splashes of color again as flowers started to bud and bloom and the sun made an appearance. This is my interpretation of a Mexican spring in England. Painted in acrylic with flowers, tissue paper, crystals, and oil, it's a vivid, bright, and colorful burst of vibrancy.
