When we were kids, we used to kill grasshoppers as a sport. It was really fun! Everyone wanted to be the winner – the one with the highest dead grasshoppers in his nylon. Or the one with the biggest grasshopper. I painted this just to remember what I used to do for fun when I was a kid. We used to roast them and eat them. It was simple and fun. We got fresh air and exercise, and a snack! Now kids play around with phones, play play-stations, spend time watching cartoons. Things are changing here in Nigeria.
