Belle Nuit
Inspired by the beauty of our world's transition from dusk to night to dawn. That continuous transition from night to day is a weave-like motion of our planet. “Belle Nuit” is composed of two sections connected together to make one whole. The first section is a partially woven manipulated warp, using various materials, which are mostly recycled. The second section is woven on a wheel (a circular warp) using similar materials. Material: recycled hula-hoop; plastic foil; videotape; and yarn of different golds, black and metallic colors.
