Mountain Mystique

Mountain Mystique Nature is an unmatched force in the feelings it can evoke, in both the anxiety and the calmness it can bring. It is as fierce as it is tender, it is out in the open and ever mysterious. When I went trekking for first time, it became difficult for me to understand what I was feeling inside of me. The surreal mountainscapes, the scale of the peaks, the crispness of the air, and the rugged terrain in which life continued to blossom and be inspired naturally overwhelmed me. But I also felt deeply nurtured by everything that I saw and felt. When I returned back, after long years I started working on a series of works in which I tried to articulate my feelings of being amongst mountains. With earthy tones and natural palette, I try to bring to life on canvas what I felt out in nature, the grand mountain mystique.
